Currently in charge of accounting with lengthy experience in the entire company operation, Lois has the dual distinction of being the first FRMA forklift driver and former Clerk of the Corporation.
Lois lives in Bridgewater, MA with her husband and her imperious corgi. She is a frustrated painter and musician.
Ellen joined F.R. Mahony & Associates, Inc. in October 1999 after working years in the retail and banking industries. She started as a temp but we loved her charming wittiness so much that she was offered a full-time position. She keeps the rest of the staff on their toes and at the same time adds a simple lightheartedness to the day. After putting in a hard day’s work, she enjoys spending her free time with her grandchildren (yes, she does have a favorite), traveling the open seas, and reading novels and stories of all different kinds. She even likes to catch a movie now and again.

Jessalyn joined the F.R. Mahony Inside Sales team in July 2010. We call her Jess around here, not to be confused with the other woman named “Jeff”. She brings with her a Child Care education and also a Veterinary background. Those skills do, surprisingly, come in handy time to time here at F.R. Mahony. Halloween is her favorite holiday, so if you come into our office and find one person in costume, you’ve found Jess.
When she’s not working, she spends her time lifting things up and putting them down, paying organizations and charities to run 3 miles, taking care of her hairless cat ‘Peetri’, and she also likes to believe she’s still crafty and attempts many DIY projects at home.
Jess is always on the go and continuously waiting for the next adventure.
I received BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama and attended graduate school at Vanderbilt University. I am a registered Professional Engineer in Massachusetts and Alabama.
Early in my career, I made a transition from structural design to structural analysis and then to software development. After working in software development for more than 20 years, I decided I’d prefer a legacy better than “he wrote eight good lines of code” and pursued an Environmental Engineering path. I worked for a private consulting firm designing wastewater systems for three years before becoming a member of the FRMA team in 2006.
Joined F. R. Mahony & Associates January, 1999. Graduated with honors with an AS in Business from North Georgia College and State University. Since joining the company, has worked extensively with engineering and sales to successfully win project bids for private small wastewater treatment plants. After the company has been awarded the bid, continues to work with engineering and sales to comply with project specifications including submittals, operations and maintenance manuals, and procurement of equipment so that when complete the treatment plant will operate as designed.
Outside interests include travel, spending time with friends, and enjoying the pleasures of coastal living.
I joined the company in September of 2014, and this is my first job in the engineering field since graduating. I graduated from the University of Vermont in May 2013 with a B.S. in Environmental Engineering.
While at the University of Vermont I found a way to live out my love of sports by becoming the mascot there, Rally Catamount. Since graduation I have performed as various Minor and Major league team mascots from NH and MA.
